Infinity Ships Millionth Reference Speaker
WOODBURY, N.Y. — Infinity Mobile Systems announced that it shipped its one millionth pair of Reference Series speakers after 26 months of being on the market. The company said it delivered more than 38,000 pairs of the speakers per month, on average. The Reference series was the company's first line to offer its Plus One cone technology, which allows for greater cone space.
Phoenix Gold Bows Long Excursion Sub
PORTLAND, ORE. — Phoenix Gold announced it will ship in June its first long excursion subwoofer with the release of the Titantium Elite Ti12d. The Ti12d claims "the deepest cast basket ever tooled," according to Phoenix Gold. It has dual 9-inch spiders; 235-ounce magnet assembly; 3-inch, four-layer copper clad aluminum voice coil and one inch of linear Xmax, said the company. The Ti12d can handle 1,000 watts continuous and 2,000 watts peak power at a suggested retail price of $899.99. In addition the company is shipping a new Class D mono amplifier rated at 900 watts at 2ohms. Called the QX900, it has a suggested retail price of $469.
