Perry Joins Panasonic As Senior VP

Secaucus, N.J. — Long-time industry veteran Robert Perry joins Panasonic Consumer Electronics Monday as product marketing strategy and implementation senior VP, the company said.

Perry, who in his history with the consumer electronics industry has chaired the Consumer Electronics Association’s video committee and served with Sharp, Mitsubishi, LG and most recently Logitech, will work primarily with Panasonic’s Viera plasma and LCD HDTV line.
Perry has an extensive background in marketing and sales with the companies he has represented and is well known for his direct and outspoken style in tackling industry issues of concern to his employers.
“Bob Perry’s wealth of experience in consumer electronics marketing will be a tremendous asset to Panasonic as we continue to build market leadership for our Viera flat-panel HDTVs and brand,” stated Shiro Kitajima, Panasonic CE president. “We are looking to Bob to help us drive strong marketing initiatives that will take Panasonic to new heights.”
