Kensington Adds To Accessories Line

LAS VEGAS — Kensington Computer Products Group is introducing eight new products during International CES at the Venetian (rooms 215 and 216).
The varied lineup is designed to help consumers stay connected while on the go. Of note is a limited-edition wireless mouse targeted to women. With this product, the company is showing its support for the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement to help fight heart disease. Kensington is donating $125,000 to the AHA to help raise funds and awareness so women can lead longer, heart-healthy lives.
Riding the iPod and MP3 player accessory wave, Kensington keeps the tunes playing in the car or between meetings with the FX500 Speaker To Go ($49.99 suggested retail). Designed for travelers, the FX500 plays MP3 or iPod tunes with quality stereo sound thanks to its built-in speakers. The new car mount for iPod and MP3 players ($29.99) keeps iPods and MP3 players safely in place.
Kensington is also expanding its line of VoIP accessories. Among the new products is the Vo200 Bluetooth Internet phone ($79.99). By using a Bluetooth-enabled PC, the Vo200 lets users make clear calls and get hours of talktime — more than three hours and up to 30 hours standby time. The Vo200 is compatible with many Internet phone services including Skype, MSN, Yahoo! and Google.
The company will introduce a seven-in-one Media Reader for ExpressCard Slot ($39.99) to transfer pictures and music between notebooks and media devices while on the go.
Kensington also has four new products to the Control It line, including a Bluetooth-enabled mouse and USB enabled notebook keypads. The notebook keypad/calculator with USB hub ($29.99) is a calculator, full 19-key pad and USB hub, all in one. The wireless notebook keypad/calculator and mouse set ($59.99) is a faster, more convenient way to enter numbers while traveling. The new Si670m Bluetooth wireless notebook mouse ($49.99) connects to a Bluetooth-enabled notebook, without a receiver. And the limited edition Si750m LE wireless notebook laser mouse ($59.99), designed for women, is a focal point of the company's support for the AHA.
