Norcent Bows 10-Megapixel Digital Camera

San Dimas, Calif. – Norcent entered the 10-megapixel sweepstakes today, with a low-cost riff on the increasingly popular resolution.

The $199 DC-1020 features a 2.4-inch LCD, 3x optical/4x digital zoom lens, 14 scene modes and a burst shooting option.

The camera also features an MPEG-4 movie mode for capturing VGA resolution video. Thirty second Wav format audio files can be recorded with the video clips. The DC-1020 sports 32MB of internal memory with an SD expansion slot.

The model is shipping this month.
