Oxnard, Calif. — SoundKase has developed an “innovative” line of backpacks for iPods, MP3 players and PSP units.
Offering “unique” features, flexible compartments and premium materials, each backpack is designed with a clear pocket to hold an iPod or MP3 player. The backpacks, geared for users who like to take their music anywhere, are made for active lifestyles — snowboarding, traveling and mountain biking.
The family of SoundKase iPod backpacks includes the iBoom, iPack, iSpy and the PSPBoom. All feature water-resistant zippers, a clear pocket for an iPod or MP3 player, full-zip easy-access main compartment, adjustable sternum strap, shoulder strap cellphone pouch and contoured shoulder straps.
Both the iBoom, model SKIBGW, and PSPBoom, model SKPSPBG, feature 4-inch super-light neodymium speakers that crank 5 watts per channel. Users can listen to their iPod and PSP player through these speakers. Backpacks also hold a 70-ounce to 100-ounce hydration reservoir.
The iPack is large enough to hold a laptop computer and features the iPod pocket. The iSpy offers the pocket and a detachable padded camcorder waist pack large enough to hold a small camcorder or digital SLR camera.
Suggested retails are $99.99 for the iBoom, PSPBoom and iPack. The iSpy is $59.99. The iBoom and PSPBoom are scheduled for delivery this month.
