Olevia To Show 65-Inch LCD TV

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 6/19/2007

Anaheim, Calif. — Syntax-Brillian will use the InfoComm exhibition, June 19-21, here to introduce a 65-inch 1080p LCD HDTV with internal Silicon Optix Realta HQV video processing for the pro A/V home theater market.

The Olevia 665i will be Syntax-Brillian’s first LCD TV larger than 50 inches in North America.

In addition to incorporating Silicon Optix Realta HQV video processor, the new Olevia 665i HDTV, $9,999 suggested retail, features the company’s “Big Picture Technology” that reduces over scanning, a wide-angle viewing radius and a thin bezel design with removable speakers. Inputs include two HDMI, two component, composite and VGA. An RS232 control port is added for networked applications or home automation installations.

Syntax-Brillian said it plans to sell the giant set through both professional audio/video distributors and CEDIA/home theater specialty retail channels.
