Eye-Fi Adds Social Networking Features

Mountain View, Calif. – Wireless SD maker Eye-Fi enhanced the functionality of its card today, adding RSS feeds and compatibility for the Twitter social networking service.

New and existing Eye-Fi card owners can automatically alert friends and family via a standard RSS reader or Twitter when new photo are uploaded to their chosen photo Web site.

Twitter users will have the ability to custom their “Tweets” messages when new images uploaded.
