ACECAD Adds To DigiMemo Line

By Staff -- TWICE, 1/8/2007

ACECAD, International CES booth Hilton 55000, will exhibit it's the newest addition to its DigiMemo series of digital notepads — the DigiMemo L2. The L2 combines a normal paper legal pad and pen with a special tablet/clipboard that uses electromagnetic technology to capture whatever is written on the paper. The data is then stored in the unit's 32MB flash memory. There is also a SD Card slot for additional memory. The unit's handwriting recognition software can translate written notes into Word text. When the L2 is connected to a PC via a USB cable, it lets the pen and tablet act as a mouse enabling it to launch all Windows applications. ACECAD has also upgraded the bundled DigiMemo Manager software to allow users to better manage handwritten notes. The software lets the user view, edit and organize digital pages in Windows or save it as a book file (e-Book), and further share the notes through. Pricing and shipping information were not available.
