Solo Introduces Convertible Laptop Backpack

By Colleen Bohen -- TWICE, 4/9/2007

Solo has introduced its PB321-4 convertible laptop backpack, which it says is a vertical backpack, handheld portfolio and messenger bag all in one. According to the company, the bag can become any of the above by simply changing the strap configuration.

Other notable features include its trademarked "Ride Along Pocket," a back pocket that unzips so that the backpack can be slipped over the handle of a rolling suitcase to make it easier to carry when dealing with luggage. It also has a zip-down organizer compartment with disk and accessory pockets and includes and accordion fan file and removable padded computer sleeve.

The bag is said to accommodate 15-inch laptops and it carries a suggested retail price of $79.99.
