Memorex Intros 16x DVD+R Media

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 7/8/2004

Cerritos, Calif. — Memorex is introducing 16x DVD+R media, which the company says delivers the fastest burn time and highest performance available.
The 16x DVD+R media will ship in August, with discs initially available in 5-packs, at suggested retail of $11.99 per pack. The media will be available in time for the release of 16x DVD burners, which are expected to be available this summer, the company said. These will be able to burn a 4.7GB disc, capable of holding two hours of video, in about six minutes.
