By Staff -- TWICE, 1/8/2007

Aleratec, developer and manufacturer of DVD/CD duplicating and publishing solutions, is highlighting three new products at International CES. One is a DVD/CD auto-loading disc duplicator with LightScribe technology that laser burns labels directly on DVD/CD discs. All of Aleratec's new products are on view in South Hall 4, booth 35959.

The 1:3 DVD/CD Auto Publisher LS is the only robotic LightScribe disc publisher, and it can automatically record and duplicate DVDs and CDs, then make direct to disc labels with silkscreen quality, without a printer. It is the only auto publisher using LightScribe labeling technology. The 1:3 DVD/CD Auto Publisher LS has an estimated street price of $2,999.

What good is a duplicator without the proper media, so Aleratec is showing its all-new line of Prosumers' Choice Duplicator Grade LightScribe DVD-R recording media. This new Duplicator Grade LightScribe media is produced to standards necessary to assure the highest quality disc publishing copies and labels. For added convenience, Aleratec Duplicator Grade LightScribe Media is packaged in stackable cake boxes for storage and access to blank media. The Duplicator Grade LightScribe 100 pack is now available for $79.99.

The Aleratec DVD/CD Shredder Plus DS, $139.99, is the company's latest tool for protecting family and business. It makes slicing up paper, credit cards, compact discs and DVDs simple and easy rendering their contents unreadable and useless. The desk-side DVD/CD shredder plus DS is the latest extension of the Aleratec media shredder line and is a very low cost insurance for corporate, government, education and consumer applications, the company said..
