Directed Debuts Security In Pink

By Amy Gilroy -- TWICE, 4/21/2008

Directed is offering a special-edition security/remote-start system in something unusual for the auto sound market: pink.

Directed is debuting a Mother's Day version of its Responder LE system from Viper and will donate a portion of the proceeds to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a leading cancer survivor and networking group. For each pink Responder LE sold, the company will donate $13.39, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000.

The pink Responder LE is a thin-two way transmitter with LED "GhostLight" confirmation of a command. The unit has a remote-start range of 2,000 feet at a suggested retail of $479.
