JVC To Offer Warranty Coverage Through Warrantech

Wayne, N.J. — JVC has signed a two-year contract with Warrantech Consumer Product Services to provide extended-service coverage for the company’s consumer products over the JVC web site.
The agreement covers all of the manufacturer’s high-definition displays and home theater projectors, digital video camcorders, home theater systems, audio components and systems, portable audio products, DVD players and recorders, digital storage devices, A/V accessories, car A/V products and recording media.
The deal follows a similar agreement reached less than six months ago covering JVC’s professional product lines.
“This is exciting news,” said Joel San Antonio, chairman/CEO of parent company Warrantech Corp. “In less than six months, JVC has turned their extended-service coverage programs for both the professional and consumer product lines over to Warrantech. This is a great win for Warrantech and a real vote of confidence from a recognized global consumer electronics manufacturer.”
Warrantech cited its ability to deliver “comprehensive extended-warranty coverage and prompt, courteous customer service” as key factors behind JVC’s choice.
