Canon Launches Camcorder Campaign

Lake Success, N.Y — Canon has kicked off an ad campaign to promote its HD and flash-memory-based camcorders.
The “Be HD” campaign will promote the firm’s new Vixia HD camcorder line, introduced at International CES.
Ads will run in a variety of national and regional newspapers alongside multi-page insertions in consumer publications such as Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone, Canon said.
The print campaign will be accompanied by an online component featuring banner ads, interactive content and videos, the company said.
