TEAC INTRODUCES COLOR DISC PRINTER

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/3/2007

TEAC America is launching its P11 one-color thermal printer that prints directly onto the surface of CD and DVD discs with thermal transfer ink. The printer can print to four separate areas of the disc and can be used for various applications including labeling music, video, data and photo CDs and DVDs.

The P11 printer prints to each of a disc's four quadrants by spinning the disc and then applying color in each area. Four color ribbons — black, blue, green and red — are available. The TEAC P11 comes with black ribbon, USB cable, AC adapter, label design software, operator's manual and media. .
