Haier America Highlights MP3 Phone With Bluetooth At CES

LAS VEGAS — Haier America is showing its MP3 phone, model Y-MP3190, during International CES at booths 14438 and 15749 in the Central Hall.
TheY-MP3190 features a mirror-black exterior and smooth, rounded shape, evoking a black pearl.
The unit is small, making it easy to slip into a purse or pocket, measuring only 3.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide and 0.75 inches deep, and weighs just 2.24 ounces, the company said.
This full-function GSM phone is fully equipped with an MP3 player, FM stereo tuner, Bluetooth stereo transmitter, USB memory drive, voice recorder, internal 128MB of memory and a Trans-Flash memory expansion slot for up to 1GB of additional storage capacity. In addition the Y-MP3190 features a full-color, battery-friendly, OLED display with a 3D graphics menu system.
A new model featuring a leather-backed chromed finish body will also be on display, Haier said, and the firm will unveil "a major new wireless product in partnership with a leading Internet company that will represent an important industry milestone between China's leading brand and an iconic American firm."
