ClearOrbit Establishes Supply-Chain Web Store

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/4/2008

ClearOrbit, a provider of real-time supply-chain execution and reverse logistics software solutions, has launched an online store for its certified hardware products, software, and services.

The store, located at http://store.clearorbit.com, "further demonstrate[es] the company's commitment to providing manufacturers and distributors easy-to-use solutions that streamline their supply-chain operations," the supplier said.

The store, which accepts payment by credit cards and company purchase order, currently offers customers a secure, convenient method for ordering hardware devices certified for use with ClearOrbit software, such as scanners and mobile computers, label printers, wireless infrastructure equipment, and recommended or required accessories like printer labels, spare batteries and service contracts, the company said.

The store will also offer online registration and payment processing for all ClearOrbit software training courses, and will eventually offer easy-to-use software applications that seamlessly integrate to leading ERP platforms, such as Oracle and SAP.

"We're simplifying and accelerating the method by which customers evaluate and purchase solutions that increase the efficiency of their supply chain operations," said ClearOrbit marketing and products VP Warren Sumner. "Anything we can do to make it easier for customers to deploy our solutions ultimately decreases their time to value and enables them to focus on their core business operations."

The company, founded here in 1994, has assisted more than 275 clients in automating and controlling process execution within their extended supply networks, including such market leaders such as Canon, Cisco, GE and Motorola.
