Buchanan, a principal with Echo Advisors, a financial consulting firm, named to the board of NuVision ... John M. Godfrey, formerly with Sony and Pioneer, takes on a similar role with Samsung Electronics America as government and public affairs VP, based in Washington ...Ralf Engelbrecht is returning to Clarion as senior VP retail sales after a brief stint as national sales manager at Directed. Engelbrecht replaces Jack Kamatsu at Clarion, who has been appointed retail strategic planning senior VP. Gary Pomes has named national accounts sales director at Directed Electronics, replacing Engelbrecht ... David Blanks named customer service manager and Matt Shipman promoted to tech support supervisor at ELAN Home Systems ... John S. Rogers, a director of the Orvis Company, a retailer and direct marketing company, has joined the board of Vann's of Helena, Montana. In addition Bill Honzel, a partner in an accounting firm based in Helena, has been named CPA to the Vann's board ... Greg Slanaker, sales director of the western region for Norcent, has been named sales VP for the region ... Dan Jeancola, previously merchandising VP at Tweeter, was appointed merchandising senior VP at Car Toys. He replaces Jim Warren who has since joined Harmon Consumer Group as sales and marketing senior VP.
