Westinghouse Offers Notebook/TV Bundle

Santa Fe Springs, Calif. — Westinghouse Digital Electronics has introduced an all-in-one Computer/TV bundle which includes a laptop computer and 19-inch TV.
The bundle package is targeted at students headed back to the dorm. It comes complete with a Westinghouse 14.1-inch widescreen laptop computer, a Westinghouse 19-inch HD-Ready LCD TV, a USB keyboard and USB optical mouse.

The laptop features a WXGA TFT-Active Matrix widescreen display with a 1,280 by 800 resolution, an Intel Celeron M 410 processor and it comes equipped with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. It also includes an ATI Xpress 200M graphics card, 60GB hard drive, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, 8x CD/DVD+/-RW with double layer support and internal 802.11b/g wireless LAN. There is also a four-in-one memory card reader and a built-in microphone.
The TV is an HD-Ready 1,440 by 900 widescreen TV that comes with two HD inputs and integrated speakers. It can be used as a TV, a computer monitor, or for viewing DVDs and playing online or computer games.
The bundle is being offered exclusively at Wal-Mart starting this month for $989.
