Maxell Powers 1-Hr. Charger

By Staff -- TWICE, 1/30/2006

Maxell introduced a one-hour charger, model CH5000, at International CES here early in January. The charger is said to be ideal for use with digital cameras and offers consumers worldwide voltage rather than a converter.

The unit, sold with four nickel metal-hydride batteries, includes cells rated at 2500 mAh, and charges two batteries within the 60-minute period.

Suggested retail is $29.99, and the charger will be available from the Fair Lawn, N.J.-based company in the second quarter.
