Plustek Debuts Two Scanners

LAS VEGAS — Plustek is introducing two scanners, one for books and the other for office use during International CES at booth 50010 in the Hilton.
The OpticBook A300 is a USB 2.0 scanning device that can scan A3 size pages (12 inches by 17 inches) in 2.4 seconds. The device is bundled with a variety of software; can create e-books; digitize antique books and the like; and digitize information for data exchange, retrieval and storage, the company said.
Shipments are set for this month with a suggested retail of $1,999.
The MobileOffice D600 can convert paper-based documents, plastic cards, ID cards, bank checks and similar documents into JPG, BMP, TIF, Word, Excel and searchable PDF files, the company said.
Shipments for the unit are set for this month with a suggested retail of $329.
