BTI Video iPod Battery Offers Portable Solution

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/10/2006

The latest consumer power product from Battery Technology (BTI) is its Video iPod battery, which will complement the Apple iPod line of products. The battery offers up to 40 hours of music playtime and 10 hours of video playtime (per charge) for an iPod MP3 player. When the internal original battery begins to fail, the BTI battery keeps the videos and music playing, said the company.

The BTI rechargeable battery pack also comes with a detachable belt clip that allows users to attach just the iPod to their waist or belt for more mobility. The belt clip can expand into a cradle-stand which can be used to watch the video-capable iPod on an office desk like a portable television.

The Video iPod battery not only allows for extended audio and video playtime when directly connected to any compatible iPod, but also will charge the internal battery of the fifth-generation iPod.

Scheduled for February availability, the battery has a $99.95 suggested retail.
