This WiFi service does not work. I was transferred to India where they read instructions from a book and had me unplug my microwave oven and lamps in an attempt to get a stronger signal. I asked to speak to someone in the U.S. and was told that they could not do that. After being on the phone for over an hour they agreed to transfer me to another number where I was on hold for and additional half hour before speaking to someone in the U.S. who I could understand in English. I told her the situation and she appologized and said that they are supposed to transfer calls to the States without question when asked.
It appears that their coverage area is not as large or as strong as they lead you to believe. They cancelled my service and told me that I would not be charged and early cancellation fee because I cancelled within thirty days. Two months later they stole 69 dollars from my checking account without notice. Again I called (India) and was given the run around while the person on the other end read to me from a book. Tired of being read to, I asked to be transferred to the U.S. and was told it was not possible. When I repeated my request I was put on hold until another person (from Inda) answered twenty five minutes later. He was trying to speak with an American accent in a lowered voice and said his name was Bob. Again, I asked to speak to someone in the States. "Bob" said it was not possible. I insisted and he transferred me. I was on hold for another thirty minutes listening to advertisements for their phone WiFi service. Eventually I spoke to someone in the States again but she said she needed to transfer me to WiFi service. I was transferred back to India. They begrudgingly said the fees would be returned to me in 7 to 10 Business days. They were able to take money out of my checking account overnight but it would take them almost two weeks to return it to me?!! I asked to speak to someone in the States. Was told it was not possible. I insisted. I was transferred to a recording that said their business office is now closed and that I should call back during regular office hours. This was at one oclock in the afternoon!!!!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE, IT IS A SCAM!!! They take your money and never want to talk to you again. Could not get a signal anywhere whithin the service area, not even at home with the signal booster/ modem!
I am not a racist, I have a ton of Indian friends. But if you are going to have people work in customer service, they should speak and understand English effectively and not have to read instructions from a book.
