More CE Vendors Donate To Sept. 11 Chartitable Efforts

New York - Consumer electronics companies continue to make donations to a variety of charities in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
In addition to those manufacturers and retailers that have previously reported contributions, Fujifilm, Fujitsu, Sanyo North America and Hitachi have made significant donations.
Hitachi America is donating $1 million to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The Hitachi Foundation in Washington D.C. is making a separate donation of $50,000, also to the Red Cross.
Fujifilm is donating $1 million to several organizations, including the American Red Cross and the September 11th Fund, which is jointly administered by the United Way and The New York Community Trust.
Fujitsu's corporate parent in Tokyo issued a statement that it would donate $1 million to the American Red Cross and the WTC Fund.
And Sanyo North America will contribute $500,000 to the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund.
