Verizon Adds 3rd MediaFLO Phone

Basking Ridge, N.J. — Verizon Wireless unveiled its third phone to access its MediaFLO-based Mobile TV service.

The Motorizr Z6tv will be available Oct. 5 for $179 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year customer agreement through more than 2,300 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, including those in Circuit City, and at Verizon’s Web site. The Z6tv joins the LG VX9400 at $199 after a $50 rebate and Samsung SCH-u620 at $149 after $50 rebate.

The Z6tv features MP3 and WMA music playback, 2-megapixel camera, landscape and portrait modes for TV viewing, and microSD slot.
