By Staff -- TWICE, 12/4/2006

As part of Sony's ongoing tenth anniversary celebration for the Vaio computer line, the company has released a limited edition Vaio notebook series that can be ultra personalized.

The seven Graphic Splash Edition models, based on units in the C and AR Vaio notebook lines, will be offered in six colors and a free engraving service is available. The colors are pink swirl, red/green storm, blue streaks, angel, orbit and green streaks.

Sony will make only 2,650 units between the C and AR lines. The computers can be purchased online at sonystyle.com or through a kiosk in the SonyStyle stores. Also, a limited amount of stock will be kept in these stores. A basic C Series unit will feature a 13.3-inch display, Intel Core 2 Duo processors, DVD-RW drive, Wi-Fi and weigh under 5 pounds. The AR models add a 17-inch display. Price will vary depending upon configuration.
