Gateway Launches Rear Projection TV

Poway, Calif. - Gateway today added a 56-inch DLP rear-projection TV to its line up of LCD and plasma models.

The $3,799 SHD-5610 is HDTV ready, HD tuner not included, and features 720p native resolution, PIP, component, DVI with HDCP, VGA/RGB, composite and S-video A/V inputs. The unit is 19-inches deep and can be purchased now through Gateway.com and Gateway Country Stores, but the units will not start shipping until Nov. 13. The company also offers custom installation.

With this announcement, Gateway now offers 10 LCD, plasma and rear projection TVs ranging in screen size from 13-inches to 56-inches.
