OmniMount Mounts Wall Furniture Move

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 8/7/2006

OmniMount's interest in the wall furniture category is mounting (bad pun intended).

Hoping to solve such familiar A/V furniture problems as hiding wires and providing ample and stylish shelving, the company has introduced the Tria wall furniture line, which joins the company's Moda line.

The Tria features three adjustable shelves with a shelf capacity of 30 pounds each, integrated cable management, simplified installation, and a base than can be painted to suit a room's décor. Able to be used with or without flat-panel TVs, the Tria retails for a suggested $149. Its height is adjustable.

OmniMount has also introduced flat-panel speaker mounts — EAR-S and EAR-C. EAR-S mounts speakers directly next to flat panels so that sound and video will come from the same direction. It features a low-profile mounting surface, cable management to route wires and is adjustable to fit most large and extra-large flat panels, the company said. It features a suggested retail of $99.

EAR-C is designed to mount speakers directly below flat panels, ensuring sound and video come from the same direction. It too offers a low-profile mounting design, and is adjustable to fit most large and extra-large flat panels. It features a suggested retail of $59.
