Sanyo Unveils Entry 1080p 3LCD Projector

Chatsworth, Calif. – Sanyo introduced Monday a full 1080p 3LCD projector carrying a $1,995 suggested retail price.

Model PLV-Z700 is billed as having “the industry's most versatile lens-shifting system,” giving installers and users a wide range of room placement options, Sanyo said.

A new variable iris adjusts automatically to optimum light level every 1/60th of a second.

Also added is a rich color management system with deep color compatibility via HDMI 1.3.

The entry level PLV-Z700, is slated to ship to dealers in October.
