Wireless Data Use Still Limited In U.S.

Staff -- TWICE, 3/22/2004

As the industry gathers at CTIA's Wireless 2004 show in Atlanta to see more sophisticated cellphones and messaging devices, The Yankee Group released survey results on the use of wireless data services among U.S. consumers.

The 2003 Mobile User and Mobile User Young Adults surveys reached 2,490 adults as well as 1,000 18- to 24-year-olds who use mobile phones. The extent of their data and text-messaging service use is highligted here.

For more information on the surveys, see www.yankeegroup.com.
