DOVER, ENGLAND — Freedom Input is now shipping a Bluetooth-operated keychain GPS and a portable Bluetooth keyboard.
The Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 is geared toward BlackBerry and other smartphone users who have no GPS built into their phones. The Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 — which weighs less than 1 ounce and measures 1.81 inches by 1.26 inches by 0.58 inch — can reportedly connect simultaneously to up to 51 satellite channels, with a working time of 10 hours.
Currently available, it has a $99.99 suggested retail.
The Freedom Universal2 portable keyboard is also geared toward smartphone users. The full-sized keyboard, which operates using Bluetooth technology, features a five-row Alpha Numeric keyboard with full-sized keys that have "scissor action mechanics," giving the user the feel of a desktop keyboard, said the company.
It uses two AAA batteries, and has user-programmable shortcut and command keys, as well as rubber grip pads, a fold-out stand and a leather carrying case.
The keyboard is currently available for a $99.99 suggested retail.
Both the GPS and keyboard are updated models of previous versions.
