Zink Announces Partnerships

By Greg Scoblete -- TWICE, 1/7/2008

In addition to its work with Polaroid (above), Zink Imaging announced three new partnerships at International CES.

The firm has teamed with Japan-based Tomy Company, which sells children's toys and electronics under several brand licenses, including Disney. The companies are collaborating on a line of electronics incorporating Zink's print engine.

Specific products were not announced but were said to be due in 2008.

The company also added manufacturing partners Alps Electric and Foxconn. Both partners will work with Zink to market Zink-enabled devices to brand partners.
