Delphi Ships 5 Millionth Satellite Radio

TROY, MICH. — Delphi, proclaiming it is the leading manufacturer of satellite radio hardware, announced today it has sold 5 million satellite radio receivers to date.

The company sells aftermarket and OEM receivers for both XM and Sirius and said it will begin delivering satellite radios to Ford later this year.

Delphi's most recent XM product offering is the Delphi MyFi, the industry's first personal headset satellite radio. Delphi said it plans to introduce additional retail satellite-radio products later this year.
