Mega Group Bows Distribution Service

Germantown, Tenn. — Mega Group USA has formed a warehousing and distribution system for members of its buying group.
Called Mega Warehousing and Distribution, the program consists of a strategic alliance with XLS Logistics that provides Mega Group with 11 warehouse locations throughout the United States to support 100 percent of the membership needs, the buying group said.
Jim Sendrak, electronics merchandising director, said in a prepared statement, “This will allow our members to have access to a complete assortment of brand-name electronics under one roof. The convenience and easy access along with bringing in container buys will allow our members to compete at any level.”
Rick Bellows, appliances merchandising director, said in the same statement, “The ability to cross dock multiple brands at truckload pricing and take advantage of closeouts, discontinued and opportunistic buys will enhance our dealer profitability.”
Mega Group USA buying group has annual sales of $2 billion and 1,000 members.
