Stereo Advantage Joins PRO Group

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 7/17/2006

Stereo Advantage, a leading specialty A/V retailer in the Buffalo, N.Y., market, has joined the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group), effective immediately.

The 26-year-old business, led by CEO Butch Kreuz and president Al Walters, becomes the 16th member of the premium CE buying group, bringing its annual sales to over $2.3 billion.

“Stereo Advantage is a tremendous addition to our group,” said PRO executive director Dave Workman. “Their reputation in the industry as one of the most innovative, solution-oriented retailers makes them a perfect fit for the group.”

Stereo Advantage ranked 96th on TWICE's Top 100 CE Retailers Report with qualified sales of $35 million in 2005. The company has one showroom in the Buffalo area, but maintains a national presence through a well-trafficked Web site that carries such categories as A/V, communications, imaging, mobile and portable audio, PCs, furniture and accessories.
