By Staff -- TWICE, 1/8/2007

Maxell Corporation of America is introducing a hatful of accessories for use with personal audio devices here in the Central Hall at booth 11906.

Among Maxell's latest introductions is its new line of accessories for Apple's second-generation iPod nanos. Its new nano skins line, model number P-20A, features dust and dirt resistance, shock-absorbing design with clear shields for the LCD screen and easy access to controls and connectors.

The skins, available in four colors, are each packaged with a lanyard and feature a 30-pin connector flap to make it easy to connect the iPod with accessories while the skin is on. Also for the nano, Maxell is introducing its P-31 nano leather case which features a removable flip-top magnetic closure, a reinforced belt clip.

Pricing and availability for both types of nano cases are expected to be available in late January.

Keeping in line with its personal audio accessory push, Maxell is also bowing two sets of headphones.

The EH-130 Stereo Ear Hooks headphones have a suggested retail of $5.99 and are intended for active users who want to be able to use the phones while doing activities like exercise and dancing. Maxell's Jelleez line of lightweight, in-ear stereo ear buds feature soft gel earpieces for comfort. The headphones are available in four colors and have a suggested retail of $9.99.

Maxell is also introducing its CD-240 lens cleaner intended for use with all disc-based home entertainment products like CD, DVD, CD-ROM, CD-R Music and Games Station players and drives. The cleaner's main features are its Advance Angle brush and the fact that it comes with "audible instructions." The cleaner has a suggested retail of $5.99.
