EQD Unveils 23.6” Auria LCD Monitor Pair

EQD’s Auria EQ236 and EQ2368 are 23.6-inch 1080p LCD monitors that will ship later this month.

Mission Viejo, Calif. — Video-display startup EQD introduced a pair of 23.6-inch LCD monitors to its Auria assortment of HD monitors and TVs on Tuesday.

Models EQ236 ($199 estimated selling price) and EQ2368 ($219) each offer 23.6-inch widescreen sizes and are being positioned for PC gaming, graphics design or digital signage. Both will be available later this month.

EQD said it designed the monitors for both consumer and business applications. Both offer 1,920 by 1080 FullHD resolution and feature sets “typically found on high-end brand monitors,” EQD stated.

Both monitors list a 2ms overdrive response times, built-in speakers and a set of video source inputs including VGA, DVI and HDMI.

The EQ236 features a glossy piano-black finish with brushed-aluminum accents and has a dynamic contrast ratio of 60,000:1. The EQ2368 comes in a matte-black finish with silver accents and features a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1.

All Auria-brand LCD displays and TVs are backed by a two-year warranty.

EQD currently sells the Auria line through major online retailers including: Amazon.com, Buy.com, Newegg.com, PC Mall and PC Connection. Additional online retailers will be announced later, the company said.
