ADI Sponsors CEDIA Education Experience

Melville, N.Y. — ADI is sponsoring The Learning Lab Experience at CEDIA Expo 2008, being held in Denver, Sept. 3-7.
The labs will include three separate rooms equipped with technology from its vendor partners to provide hands-on learning opportunities for custom installers. There will be a Video Display Technology and Calibration Lab, a Home Theater Audio Lab and a Structured Cable Lab.
“We are proud to team up with our vendors and CEDIA to sponsor the Learning Labs at this year’s CEDIA EXPO,” said RJ Hirshkind, product manager for residential and commercial A/V at ADI. “With these labs, we’re giving dealers an opportunity to become comfortable with the latest technology, and build their confidence to successfully sell and install residential audio, video and automation solutions.”
During the show, The Learning Labs will host seven courses from the Electronic Systems Technician (EST) College, providing attendees the opportunity to install, calibrate and troubleshoot integrated A/V systems.
“Registration for classes associated with these labs is very high, and we expect them to be a huge success,” said Jeff Gardner, director of technical training at CEDIA.
When the Labs are not being used for formal trainings, they will still be available for attendees to interact with the products and technology inside.
