Otterbox Debuts Latest Treo Case

By Staff -- TWICE, 5/21/2007

Otterbox introduced its 1921 case, designed to protect Palm Treo 680, 750 and 755p smartphones from water, dust and drops.

Engineered of durable polycarbonate/ABS and rubber over-molding, the 1921 features a rigid screen cover that protects the LCD and flips up for interactive screen use. The case also provides use of the camera through a clear window on the back.

A compound latch on the case is meant to be easy to open. Other features include an external stylus holder and Donaldson acoustic vents for sound transmission. Headset, sync and charge connectors remain accessible — as do keypads, touchscreens, volume and program buttons — and Treo 750 users can reportedly operate IR through the case.

The 1921 also comes with a belt clip and holster with swivel clips, and screen, plug and latch replacement kits.
