Monster Introduces Alkaline Battery Line

Brisbane, Calif. — Monster Cable has introduced a complete line of alkaline PowerCells batteries designed for portable electronics. The line, which follows up on Monster's 2001 introduction of rechargeable PowerCells, features low-loss construction and advanced chemistry with micro granular electrolytes that deliver peak power and usage time.

Cells, which are available in AA, AAA, C, D, 9V and special C and D Alkaline PowerCell Battery Packs, are packaged in various quantities, including convenient 20-, 8- and 4-packs.

Suggested retails for the high capacity alkaline PowerCell family include AA and AAA 4-packs, $4.95 or 8-packs, $7.95. AA 20-packs are $17.95. Four-packs of C and D cells are $7.95, while 8-packs of Cs and Ds are $9.95. Two-pack 9V types are $7.95.
