Tweeter To Carry Pegasus Express

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 6/11/2001

CANTON, MASS. — Tweeter said it has agreed to carry Pegasus Communications' high-speed Internet service and hardware in stores across the country.

The chain represents one of the largest retailers to sign on with Pegasus to date. The retail chain, which has not traditionally handled Internet access systems in the past, has carried services and equipment for DirecTV under several brands.

The service and hardware is now available nationwide and can be ordered at any Tweeter location. Service features include an easy-to-install USB connection. The hardware package carries a $699 estimated retail price, including installation. The Pegasus Express service is $69.95 per month.
