Blaupunkt, Kenwood Join To Make PNDs

Blaupunkt, owned by the Bosch group, and Kenwood said they plan to form a partnership to produce portable navigation devices (PNDs) starting in 2008.

The companies said they signed a memorandum of understanding to pool their car audio expertise to co-develop PNDs that will be offered by each company individually.

No further details were announced.
