Charter To Delpoy 2nd-Gen. Moxi Unit

New Orleans — Cable TV set-top systems developer Digeo said at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association show here Monday that multisystem operator (MSO) Charter Communications will begin deploying the new Moxi Cable HD DVR 3012 in the third quarter of this year.

Charter is the first MSO to order and deploy Digeo’s second-generation offering, which incorporates dual HD tuners and a DVR.

The Moxi 3012 also includes the Moxi Menu advanced onscreen user interface, two-way Multistream CableCARD support, remote Web scheduling capability, an option for up to 1TB of external storage, and extensive data mining through the Moxi portal for real-time customer usage insights.

“Charter’s support of our newest version of the Moxi platform marks an important milestone for Digeo,” stated Greg Gudorf, Digeo CEO . “We’re confident that Charter’s customers will enjoy the many new features that the Moxi 3012 provides.”
