Lafayette, Calif. — Digital frame maker Pandigital added a 6-inch model to its lineup today.
The $114-suggested model (PAN-600-B) will be the company’s entry-level frame and ships this month.
It offers a six-in-one memory-card reader for SD/MMC, xD, Memory Stick (including PRO and Duo) and CompactFlash memory cards. It features 128MB of internal memory and USB host connectivity. It also features a 5-inch by 7-inch aspect ratio with a screen resolution of 410 by 234 pixels and a 300:1 contrast ratio.
The frame supports MP3 playback through built-in speakers or headphones, as well as MPEG-1/MPEG-4 and AVI video playback.
It will ship a remote control and a black wood and cherry wood interchangeable frame.
With the addition of the new model, the company also cut pricing on its existing 7-inch, 8-inch and 9-inch models. They will now retail for $119, $179 and $199, respectively.

I purchase three of them for mothers day. USB device is not recognized. Their web site offers no support.
