CES 2009: Bug Labs Bows Bugmodules Line

LAS VEGAS — Bug Labs will host an Innovations Pod in the Sands Convention Center, booth IP209.

The company will be on hand to discuss the latest additions to its Bug collection of electronic modules that it said can "snap together to build any gadget you can imagine."

Each Bugmodule is said to represent a specific function such as a camera, keyboard or video output device. The open-source hardware components combined with an integrated online community (Bugnet) allow users to build, program and share devices of their choice.

Bug will show off new modules here at International CES that feature Wi-Fi, GSM, Xbee, audio and its Von Hippel breakout module.
