CompUSA Adds Mitsubishi TVs

By Doug Olenick -- TWICE, 3/17/2006

Dallas — CompUSA will start carrying three high-end SKUs from Mitsubishi starting on March 26.

The addition is part of the retailer’s focus on premium entertainment products, the company said, adding the chain will increase the size of its home electronic sections to accommodate the new models.

The models are the rear projection LCD 52W-inch WD-52526; the rear projection LCD 62W-inch WD-62526; and the DLP 52W-inch, 1,080 HDTV WD-52627.

“Home entertainment is central to technology, and a quality HDTV is fast becoming a fixture in today’s family room,” Larry Mondry, president/CEO of CompUSA said. “The addition of these premium Mitsubishi HDTVs will enhance our high-end offering and provide more choices to consumers who want to unleash the power of technology.”
