Gemini's Solar Pak Provides Extended Play For Game Boy

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/29/2003

Solar Pak, model GEGBASP, from Gemini Industries — part of the third- and fourth-quarter launch of the company's Game Elements line — is called an innovative power supply that transforms natural sunlight into energy used to supplement battery power.

Solar Pak, for use with Game Boy Advance, operates both outdoors and indoors, and provides continuous, long-lasting playtime — anywhere and anytime. Users can play in the dark with an articulating light bar, while the unit charges without limits.

In this case, the built-in rechargeable battery powers four light-emitting diodes (LEDs) containing a metallic silver coating that provides screen lighting. The unit, which snaps on to the Game Boy Advance for complete power and non-stop playtime, comes with an AC adapter.

Suggested retail is $29.99.
