By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 2/25/2009
Alpharetta, Ga. — Peleman Industries will hit the PMA show with a new automatic book-binding machine and a consumer solution for adding audio messages and music to photo books.
The Unibind UniPlano photo-book-binding machine can produce up to 200 hardcover photo books an hour
and does not use glue, the company said. Users feed precut cover material into an autofeed tray, along with personalized prints and end-leaf trays.
The Uniplano will be available later this year; pricing was not announced.
The company also announced a new Photos N Sound photo-book kit, which lets consumers add music or personal messages to their photo books. The photo-book covers can also playback themed music such as Christmas carols and “happy birthday.”
The Photos N Sound book covers will feature a record button, allowing users to save a message. Messages can be rerecorded multiple times, the company said.
The new Photos N Sound photo-book kit will be sold in May. Pricing was not announced.
