Westinghouse Unveils 2009 LCD Monitor Lineup

Westinghouse Digital is offering a full new lineup of LCD computer monitors for 2009, in sizes ranging from 19 inches through 26 inches. All are part of Westinghouse's Green Monitor Initiative and feature EPA Energy Star 4.1 Tier 2 ratings.

Each monitor features a 1000:1 contrast ratio and comes with built-in speakers. All but the 26-inch model have 16:9 aspect ratios, it is 16:10 on the 26-inch model.

The 19-inch L1920NW offers 1,366 by 768 resolution, and a 5ms video response time. It has VGA and stereo audio inputs and was scheduled to be available in January. Pricing for the model was not available at press time.

Westinghouse's 20-inch L2031NW offers 1600x900 resolution and 5ms response time. The device features DVI-D, VGA and stereo audio inputs. It will be available in the second half of 2009 at a yet-to-be-determined price.

The 22-inch L2220HW is a TFT LCD monitor with 1,920 by 1,030 resolution, 5ms response time and DVI-D, VGA and stereo audio inputs. It was scheduled to be available in January, but its price was unavailable at press time.

The 24-inch L2427HW offers 1,920 by 1,080 resolution and a 2ms response time. The monitor comes with two HDMI inputs with HDCP as well as VGA and stereo audio. The model will be available in March at a yet-to-be-determined price.

Finally, the 26-inch L2635NW offers a 1,920 by 1,200 resolution and a 2ms response time. The device has 1 HDMI input with HDCP, one DVI-D with HDCP and 1 VGA input. It will also be available in March but pricing was unavailable at press time.
