TAG Reaches Deal With Tripp Lite

Edison, N.J. — — Edison, N.J. —The Advantage Group (TAG), the 11-member distributor consortium serving the custom installation market, has partnered with Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection equipment, to launch an all-new A/V power protection line aimed at installers and systems integrators.
The new power protection platform includes UPS systems, power conditioning centers, surge suppressors, cables and power distribution units. Tripp Lite UPS Systems include pure sine wave models for the highest level of power protection and support, as well as a variety of IP-addressable and remote diagnostic options to simplify system management and reduce costly service calls, the companies said.
Jim Folk, Tripp Lite's executive VP, said “Tripp Lite's partnership with TAG represents the perfect vendor/distributor synergy,” adding that the distributor group “sets the standard for excellence in the professional custom installation and systems integration field.”
TAG's members and respective trading regions include A/V Products (Southern California); AAC Distribution (metro New York and Mid-Atlantic); Bayview Distributing (Northern California); Custom Distribution (Midwest); Custom Essentials (Central States); HCA Distributing (Rocky Mountains); Hobbs Distributing (Southeast); Nam Electronics (Southwest); New Horizons Distributing (North Central); and PGW Distributing (Florida).
